A Beautifully Foolish Endeavor
“that's what power is. It's just ability and desire without restriction.”
― Hank Green, A Beautifully Foolish Endeavor
It seems that more and more we are finding easy reasons to divide ourselves into increasingly smaller ecosystems and echo chambers. Hank Green’s: An Absolutely Remarkable Thing and A Beautifully Foolish Endeavor are both books that challenge that trend and produce something, well, beautiful.
The story arcs over a period of a little over two years in the lives of a small cast set in a world very much like ours. Hank understands science, it was his first love and you can tell. The science fiction story is rich with insight into how technology could progress and how it would effect our biology. Both of Hank’s books are available in the library and on Overdrive.
